Not sure which fluorophores will work best? Check out an online spectra viewer (see Links) or contact Cassandra.
Widefield (viewing samples by eye):
- DAPI
- FITC/GFP/Alexa 488
- Rhodamine/ Alexa 568
- DIC
Confocal emission is spread into a spectrum with a diffraciton grating. Any range of wavelengths 371-740nm can be sent to one of three PMT detectors. Note that PMT 3 has higher sensitivity for red wavelengths than the other two detectors. For specific information on thel asers and detection wavelengths used for an image, look in the metadata of your .lsm or .czi file.
Objectives:
Mag. | NA |
Immersion Medium |
DIC | Corrections | Working Distance (mm) |

corr = objective has a correction collar that must be adjusted to prevent spherical aberration.
Spatial scaling is dependent on the user-defined frame size and zoom. See your.lsm or .czi file.
Sample holders:
All objectives expect a #1.5 glass coverslip.
Stage plates | Compatible Sample holders |
