Schedule

The program was held Monday, July 18 - Friday, July 22, 2016, from 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Students met at Whitehead Institute, Nine Cambridge Center, Cambridge, Massachusetts. Lunch was provided each day.

In the science lab section of the program, students practiced hands-on lab skills such as pipetting, using lab equipment, and some basic molecular and microbiology skills.  We delved into how cancer occurs and progresses.

In the art lab section, students explored the art of weaving through basket and tapestry making.  We challenged students to find their own connections between art and science!
